State of Art Mobile Medical Laboratory
The newly opened state-of-the-art Mobile Medical Laboratory is a replication of the laboratory operated at Teaching Hospital. This facility houses ultra-modern quality controlled equipment and qualified Medical Laboratory Technologists with highly accurate automated test result generation.
Sharing her views, Hon. Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine, Mrs. Pavthradevi Wanniarachchi, who graced the event as the Chief Guest and the first customer of the laboratory, stated: “The opening of the new laboratory is the culmination of a great effort of Teaching Hospital Emblipitiya, College of Medical Laboratory Science, and Analytical Instruments company with the leadership of Deputy Director General, Laboratory Service, Dr. Heamantha Beneragama. Also this state-of-the-art facility to the people of my electorate and its suburbs, I feel they too deserve the best.”
The laboratory will provide an integrated web-based reporting, web-downloading and SMS alert service to the patients, thereby providing convenience, saving time, as well as an efficient and quality service.
